THE HISTORY

 

The development was known as the Chelmsford Brewery since 1812 (Lion & Lamb). In 1983, the building was re-opened and became Dukes Genesis nightclub.

 

After 30 years of success Dukes finallly closed its doors in January 2012 due to the decline of the late night economy. The site was left abandoned and in need of a new purpose which would equally satisfy the community and its economic future.
